Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Giveaway Royale collects, how we use it, and what is visible to others when you use the service.

• Account email — used to sign in, manage your account and, if you buy credits or subscribe to a monthly plan, to identify you to our payment provider, Dodo Payments.
• Username — your public identity across giveaways and chat.
• Giveaway content — titles, descriptions, and video ideas submitted by creators.
• Participant entries — which giveaways you join.
• Live-room chat messages.
• Generated videos and replay-page data.
• Essential cookies and session data used to keep you signed in.
• Sign-in records — for each sign-in session: IP address, approximate location derived from it (country, region, city), browser and device information, sign-in method, and time. We use these to keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
• Purchase records — the credit package, price, currency, tax charged, payment status, any refund or dispute status, and reference numbers from our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Monthly plan records — the plan, its monthly price and credits, its status (for example active, set to cancel, on hold or ended), its billing-period, payment and cancellation dates, and reference numbers from our payment provider.

We use this information to operate Giveaway Royale: managing accounts, running giveaways, selecting winners at random, generating reveal videos, showing replay pages, providing support, and keeping the service safe from abuse.

Your username is public. Participants in a live room can see your username and your chat messages. Completed replay pages are public by link — anyone with the link can see the giveaway title, participant usernames including the winner, and the reveal video.

Giveaway video ideas and participant usernames may be processed by third-party AI services to generate reveal videos. We share only what is needed to create the video.

When you buy credits or subscribe to a monthly plan, payment is handled by Dodo Payments, our payment provider and merchant of record for credit purchases and monthly plans, on a secure checkout page it hosts. Dodo Payments processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. You enter your billing and payment details — such as your name, your billing country, a postal code where it is needed for tax, and your card details — directly with the provider; we never receive your full card number.

To set up a checkout we share your account email, internal account, order and plan reference numbers, and the package or plan you chose with the provider. To open the billing portal we send the provider its own reference number for your customer record.

The provider sends us payment confirmation details — amount, tax, currency, status, and any refund or dispute — which we use to add your credits and keep financial records. For a monthly plan, the provider keeps your payment method so that it can take each monthly payment, and it hosts the billing portal where you can update your payment method or cancel the plan. It also sends us updates about the plan itself — its status, its billing-period dates, and whether it is set to cancel or has been cancelled — which we use to show your plan’s status. The provider’s payment record can also include your billing address and partial card details (such as the card brand and last four digits); we use only the details listed above and do not store the rest.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

Giveaway Royale runs on reputable cloud hosting, database, and authentication providers that process data on our behalf to run the service. Purchases and monthly plans are processed by Dodo Payments, our payment provider and merchant of record.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the service. We do not use advertising cookies.

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics from our hosting provider, Vercel, to understand aggregate traffic — such as page views, referring sites, and visitor country — without cookies and without tracking you across other websites or building an advertising profile.

We keep your information while your account is active. To request deletion of your account, email support@giveawayroyale.com. Deleting an account also removes any unused credits on it. An account cannot be deleted while it has a monthly plan that is active, scheduled to cancel, on hold or otherwise still able to bill: cancel the plan first through “Manage subscription” on your Credits page. Once the plan has ended and can no longer bill, we handle the deletion request as described here.

When an account is deleted, we remove or anonymize account information where applicable. Certain records may be retained where necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, legal obligations or service integrity, including records associated with giveaways and transactions. Retained purchase and monthly-plan records are no longer linked to a Giveaway Royale account, but they keep our payment provider’s reference numbers, and Dodo Payments keeps its own records of your payments and plans. Retention periods and deletion or anonymization practices are subject to applicable law.

Giveaway Royale is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
